Technique of River Kayak Course

The moving water is the life of the river and of those who live there. In this course we start paddling in still water, then you will learn the basics of river technique: from paddling in choppy water, to supports, entry into the eddy and flowing water, the ferry and a series of basic techniques for safety in the river. The course takes place on weekends with guided descents and technical and safety lessons on WW II / III river courses, mainly on Serchio and Lima.

Equipment provided: kayak, paddle, splash guard, jacket, wetsuit, life jacket, helmet.

Prerequisites: knowing how to swim.
